Bought a kitten for my daughter as a birthday present, she was so excited and picked out a tabby cat. Got the cat home and everything was fine until two days later. She had really bad diarrhoea and I noticed it had worms in. Took her to vets and they diagnosed her with tapeworm and fleas! The man in the shop told us the cat had been fleas and wormed (clearly not) had a nice £110 bill from the vet for all the treatments and flea spray for my house. So very sad animals are treated this way and think the shop deserves to be shut. Oh and they were feeding her adult food bearing in mind she is 8 weeks old!i will be taking my complaint further

I don't know why people are moaning if they had a kitten for four weeks they should have taken it the vet already for the vaccine to get a kitten and not vaccinate it is irresponsible and at present I am aware this is the only pet shop in Liverpool that now gives kittens and puppies the first vaccine and vet check I found the staff polite and friendly one of the best selection of fish I've seen overall enjoyable visit will be going back soon as they now stock marine fish

Bought a beautiful calico kitten from here. Staff were really helpful and gave me some frontline treatment to take home. Kitten was really healthy which was also confirmed by vet when I took her in for a check up. No compliants from me. She did have diarrohea however a change to a dry kitten food soon solved the problem. I would purchase from here again without hesitation.

My advice to anyone visiting a pet shop is DONT visit this one. Fish tanks are by the door with noise, excess light and weather conditions stressing out all the fish. Kittens in poor condidtion and all round terrible shop :-(

Just a quick comment on Pets Bazaar.I found the staff really helpful when I went to buy my son a rabbit from there. The woman was great help, and she gave me loads of advice, on how to care for the rabbit. I would recommend this shop, and I took it the vet yesterday and its in full bill of health.

My boyfriend bought a kitten from this shop a year ago. We had the same trouble that the first review. When we went to the first visit to the vet our kitten was diagnosed with diarrhea and other strange disease what was treated with antibiotic during a month. Also the salesman told him that the kitten had flea treatment but it wasn't true so we had to pay again for this treatment. Like in the first review, the vet told us that they had a lot of animals from this shop with problems. Afortunantly Our kitten is perfect now but I think this shop must be closed.

My fiancee bought 2 cats from there recently. She specified that we wanted 2 male cats. The guy assured her that she was getting male cats (even when she asked if he needed to check) and stated that they had been wormed and had flea treatment. We got them home and a day later we took them to the vets for a checkup as they had diarrhoea. At this point we found out we had one male and one female cat. And they had not been wormed and not had flea treatment. They were diagnosed with a bad case of worms and had to be put on antibiotics and medicine. When we told the vet where we had got the kittens, she said that a lot of animals that come from there are sick when they get their first checkup. One of our poor kittens has just been diagnosed with ringworm, which the vet said must have come from when they where in the pet shop. In my opinion, the shop should cease trading!
