I ate at the restaurant Jambos in Windermere , Cumbria on Monday 24th April 2006, it was a special occasion as it was my wedding anniversary. The Restaurant is small and intimate and well laid out, the owners Kev and Andrea have made excellent use of the space and it is lovely. The service is very good with a lovely lady seating you and taking your orders. The service is impeccable. The menu is reasonably varied, with the usual meat, chicken dishes and the vegetarian option. I had the veggie option of which there was only one choice so perhaps they could include more on there new menus, however the option was incredible, very nice, well presented and well thought out. My husband had the pork which he said was also incredible. We also had starters and desserts which were also very very nice. The wine is very nice too , try the chilean red 1/2 bottle it is lovely. All in all this restaurant is lovely, the service is spot on and the food is literally to die for. Try it when you are in the area you wont be disappointed.
