I was given a spa break at Old Thorns as a present for my partner and myself. When my mum booked the break she had to book a time for the two treatments. When we arrived there was no record of the spa booking and we had to rebook for the following day, inconvienient as we were only staying the one night! When we did receive the treatment we were only given one although my mum had been sold two. When we questioned this they changed their minds as to how many had been advertised in the deal my mum had bought us and in the end decided it was only one. My mum e-mailed the hotel and they didn't even reply to her. In our opinion, we should also have been warned of all the building work being carried out, many people were making complaints when we left and I shall definetly never be staying there again.

Good Points: Great sized bed ! Spacious room. Bad Points: wash basin was dirty so I asked for it to be cleaned which was done quickly. make it clear what is included , or not , on the set menu for the price...it was misleading General review: A lovely place with good views from the room
