Our party of four called in without booking on a Saturday night. We were warmly greeted by Giovanni who after setling us in the bar area took our order. When the food was ready he personally showed us to our table which became ours for the evening. We were all of the same opinion - the food was delicious and beautifully complimented by a fine Italian wine recommended by Giovanni. As we were one of two tables left at the end of the evening Giovanni sang us a couple of Neapolitan love songs. A truely memorable evening.

We only stayed one night in this hotel in conclusion of our trip through the southern part of England by car before travelling to London by train. Leaving our car behind in the hotel carpark was no problem. The owner of the hotel was very kind in driving us to the trainstation in nearby Lenham and collecting us when we got back. He wouldn't hear of financial reward for his trouble. Excellent service! Our room was roomy and clean. Diner and breakfast left nothing to be desired. Great hotel.
