I went with some friends on the recommendation of a colleague. We had a really good night and loved both the food and the music. Everybody seemed to be having a good time, a bit like being at a house party. I had a fantastic chicken and mushroom starter and a whole fish! my sister had one of the best burgers in a long time. Between our party of seven we almost had everything on the menu. The food cost ten quid for two courses and the drinks were what you expect.
The music was such fun, a live band playing jazz, the mellow kind, familiar songs, not intrusive complicated stuff. The band had friends in and there were a few singers. I would definitely recommend this bar, oh yes, happy hour is 5-7pm!
