Good Points: The manager was very obliging when we asked for a fan for the room and was also very helpful with the parking again due to the refurbishment there was limited parking.
Bad Points: We had to produce our room card before we were given a table in the restraunt every couple that arrived were made to go back to their rooms to produce the cards. I have stayed in many hotels and this is the first time that they have insisted we produce a card. We also had to ask for butter with out bread and then questioned why we wanted butter. In fact the couple on the next table that they could not have any because it was on ration and they would get theirs with breakfast. Very strange if that had been me I would have complained to the manager.
General review: The hotel was being refurbished and had scaffolding and plastic all over the hotel front, so were were given a room overlooking the kitchens which has extractor fans working all night it was very noisy and not a pleasant view from our window. We were not told when we booked that the hotel was being updated.
