Best rates for a Local Hotel

Buying a holiday home at Limefitt was the best decision we ever made. It's secluded, quiet and beautiful. Whenever we need to get away from the norm we know our holiday home is just down the road, which is great! The pub at Limefitt park is friendly, cosy and has a great food and drink menu. The park is close to Ambleside, which is great for local shops, cafes and places to eat. Zefferelli's Cinema and Restaurant is a personal favourite. There are plenty of places to go walking if, like us, you're that way inclined. Now we're back to the norm, we can't wait to get back.

Limefitt is everything we wanted from a holiday lodge park. We've owned our lodge there now for about 18months and never miss a chance to spend time up there. The park is quiet and absolutely beautiful. There is a pub there that serves a fantastic range of food and a good range of drinks. Limefitt isn't too far away from places like Ambleside and Bowness, so there are plenty of attractions, shops and bars/restaurants to see/visit. Limefitt is the perfect place to own a holiday lodge as the surroundings and pace of the park are incredible.

I just got back from Limefitt after spending a week there with some friends and it was just what we had hoped for when we booked it. It's a really peaceful park that's surrounded by countryside that's perfect for long walks. There were 6 of us and we stayed in one of the classic lodges to make sure that there was enough room for us all, which there was even when we were all in the lounge area. The lodge was spotless and at times we forgot that we were in a lodge in the middle of the countryside. Until we got outside that is. The park had plenty of things to make our stay more enjoyable including a bike hire service, a shop, a bar and places to eat. We'll definitely be going back there for walking breaks in the future.

My wife and I love going through to Limefitt, usually with friends, to have a walking weekend. We had been to Limefitt a hand full of times before deciding that it would be a better idea to buy a lodge there so that we can go whenever we want without having to worry whether there will be room in any of the other accommodation options. Despite what some of the other reviews say, the Haybarn Inn is a lovely treat after a day's walking. It's nice to have somewhere to finish the day before going back to the lodge. The park has a shop that has all the things that you'll need for your stay, as although the pub does food, it's nice to be able to eat when and what you want to. The other owners (and indeed holiday makers) are a good bunch and it's always nice to see them when we visit.

I hadn't stayed at Limefitt before, we normally stay at a B&B in Troutbeck, but we'll definitely be back to Limefitt in the future. When we visit the lakes we like to go walking and so to stay in a park that is not only surrounded by some fantastic walks but has walks on-site, it was perfect for us. We stayed in one of the caravans which was comfortable, had everything we needed for our stay (especially the shower and kitchen!) and was a good price for the weekend. There was a nice pub on the site which was just what we needed after a long day's walking! The shop on site was handy too, so we didn't have to go far to get food for our stay. It was definitely better than staying in a B&B for the weekend!

Limefitt Park is a little hidden gem. We bought a lodge there a year or two back and love the park, the area and the people. The last time we went up to our lodge was in December and although it was a bit slippery, it was a truly stunning sight. One of the main reasons we love it up there is because there are so many walking routes and so much countryside to explore. Limefitt isn't just an owners park, there are plenty of caravans and lodges to hire which I've heard nice things about. In the park you'll find a great little shop, a child-friendly bar, a restaurant, basically everything you could want in a holiday park.

My husband and I own a holiday lodge at Limefitt and visit as often as we can. It has plenty of facilities including a pub with a beer garden (which is great in the summer!), a shop which has everything you could need for a little break away from home, if you've got kids there's an outdoor children's play area and an arcade. Occasionally there's live entertainment too! We love it up there for the walks in and around the park and often take friends for the weekend to explore the countryside. The staff are always helpful and always make you feel welcome.
