We arrived at the site late one night to find that the reception was closed. The instructions for camping were easy to follow and the location and facilities were lovely. The showers were hot and clean, with hair dryer and the cafe on site made lovely breakfasts. Not many downsides. Cars couldn't be parked on the grass but we managed to pitch next to the tarmac, others had to walk a small way and carry camping equipment to and fro. The stream at the bottom of the park contained rushing water but i never found that a problem. The walk to the harbour was down a very steep and at times dangerous hill so recommend taking a taxi at around £4. Overall very nice and would visit again if in the area.

Lovely location but bit of a hike into town. I was at first very pleased with the arrival reception as was festival weekend and my daughter getting married. Unfortunately owner proved rather disagreeable on morning of wedding & shouted at me over a minor transgression which I was totallt unaware of. From there on, it went downhill.

Small but beautiful campsite, very quiet in a sheltered valley with river Lyn running gently alongside site. Staff really helpful (to the point of helping novice campers erect tent! Seen with my own eyes)!! Very low key: site in location to die for, shop (open 'til 17.30'ish) and a cafe on site serving breakfast 'til 10.15. Lovely pub next to site, great beer - food looked good - didn't get a chance to try it. Toilets/showers incredibly clean, didn't need to find change - included in site fees. Shop on site providing all essentials. 10 min walk into Lynton. Coastal walks 20 mins through Lynton. River/forest walks literally on doorstep. Couldn't have asked for more, great value. Will be returning asap.
