An excellent location for views and reasonably good food, but let down by poor and arrogant service. Do not expect soem of the staff to be too polite here, but otherwise the place is ok

I have never experienced such a pleasant stay. From the food through to the friendly atmosphere, everything was great! The room we stayed in was breathtaking, it was like a room on the beach!!!!!!! We will visit again!

A very friendly and happy hotel, who`s whole ethos seems to make you part of the family from the start. Exceptional value for money with the chefs presenting good quality food which is only surpassed by it`s fabulous presentation. The rooms are clean and spacious, decorated in a pleasing way. The real jewel is Breakfast, there is no other breakfast once you have had the joy of theirs. Donald really is an artist who provides you with a rare treat !. With a view of St Michaels Mount in the background, what more could you want.

This is probably the best place anyone can stay, the views are the best in the world but even they don't match the hospitality that the hotel provide, they can not do enough for their guests and you feel very much at home staying here, the food is superb, the rooms all very nice and believe me we have stayed in many of them.... We are on our 4th stay this year and thats not to mention the times we have just been for a drink or dinner .. you can't go wrong staying here

We enjoyed the Godolphin when we stayed in 2001 and wanted to return in 2005. The fact that their website had not been updated put us off--was it still open, had it caught fire etc. We took a chance and it was still very enjoyable. We told them about the website. There was a new manager and they said it would be addressed.
