Returned home today after a few days in the Lake District .Stayed one night at the hotel. Noted lots of improvement and refurbishment since I stayed last year.Outdoor furniture looked good and the swimming pool was lovely with all those horrible chipped tiles removed and walls re-plastered. I wouldnt swim last time as it looked so grubby.
Well done staff and Management I will return and have passed the comments on to friends and family.

This hotel is well outdated and full of migrant workers making it very hard to communicate with staff, there were no English staff working at the hotel the days we stayed and no manager to speak to.went to the bar several times and no person serving went to the bar on sunday lunch time and asked for a snack and were told that there are no meals or snacks available at lunch time.Asked for sirloin steak one night for a meal and had to pay a £7.00 supplement for both of us ,when it came it was like trying to cut a piece of rubber.Would never reccomend it to anyone.
