This pub is an absolute gem. Very close to Marlow it boasts several different kinds of ale, and the food is fresh with a very large menu...I have visited several times over the years and have never had a bad meal. The prices are very reasonable...no wonder it is so popular with people 'in the know'. The staff are always pleasant and cant do enough for you. The pub is spotless and having walked passed the kitchens and peeked in on the way, they are spotless too...a good sign. Outside is a lovely garden and you can request a blanket if you feel the chill !! I cant recommend this pub highly enough, along with the staff, food and pleasant atmosphere, and of course, the reasonable prices.

This is the best value for money and simply the best food with so much choice, in this area. We have visited this pub many times and had tried many things from the vast menu and all meals have been superb. The staff are warm and friendly and the chef is great. (There is an area outside for smokers to eat under heated lamps with blankets provided! ) The main courses are all great and the desserts are out of this world. Also the prices are reasonable. Service from the staff is efficient. I really dont like to tell people about this little secret but I do think people should have the enjoyment of it all. Parking is available with no problem and only five minutes from Marlow on Thames. Try it....you will not be disappointed, and will go back time and time again as we do!
