A "homely" comfortable pub which plays relaxing music. Hosts charming and friendly and went out of their way to help us enjoy our holiday. Food just gorgeous - home cooked and imaginative! Legendary Treacle Tart!! They make their own beer too!! I can recommend their Doone Ale...

A great pub with plenty of character. Real Ale served direct from the cask - if only more pubs did this! Food, excellent and plenty of it. Lots of different rooms and on different levels making it quite cosy with wood burning stoves adding to the atmosphere. AND you have to mention the area - FANTASTIC! Walk along the riverside of the East Lyn, very very pretty... a lovely day out.
