Our party, inlcuding a 5 year old, arrived three or four minutes before the scheduled evening opening time. We were rather rudely told to wait outside despite the freezing temperatures. Needless to say, we did not return. With other nearby options like the Weld Arms and the Lulworth Cove Inn offering good food and pleasant service, why go to a place that trets customers that way?

Unwelcoming staff to the point of rudeness, very offhand to reasonable enquiries about seating a party of six, both on the phone and when we turned up at 7.15. Won't return. Luckily found an excellent place in another village nearby.
