Good Points: Initial reception personable
Bad Points: Hotel was dirty and badly maintained. The bedroom carpets were soiled. Toilet seat ill fitting. Botched DIY bathroom fittings and finish aweful. Door frames loose. TV loose on bracket. Food was disgusting, particularly breakfast. Manager/owner wore camouflaged combat trousers and black t-shirts the entire time. Staff helped themselves to breakfast juices, apples and croissants.
General review: Ridiculous lack of attention/consideration paid to customers, considering current economic times. A total lack of investment in the building and maintenance of a potentially good hotel, considering a brand new theatre is being constructed opposite.
