A Classic tale of two halves. Nice to see this often emptyish pub busy but it did result in rather a long wait for my roast beef and when this arrived it was clear that they had run out of "premier sirloin". Cooked medium the portion size was rotten and at £17.50 I cant say I was amused. An extra £2 would have bought me a whopping piece of steak. Partners Salmon was also miniscule. However, that aside, both our starters were excellent, pudding a dream and service charming. Just feel its a bit rich for Gordon Ramsay to charge around telling us all to get back to basics, eat British etc etc and then to serve a piece of Beef as poor as this. 7/10

Jolly good special of duck, delicious crumble, very attentive service - we liked it. Not sure of the location though

nice but quiet lunch here. was expecting a gordon ramsay pub to packed so soon after opening but it wasnt. never mind. food was good, though the menu was small. £45 for two mains, £15 drinks, two sides - thought it was good value. The area certainly aint short on places to eat but this looks like a welcome addition
