I went here on a trip organised by someone else and was hoping for a good night out. What were the good things? The local beer and the quality of the food; the cheerful locals having much more fun at the pub end watching the footie. What were the poor things? The dreadfully dreadfully slow service, the unengaging and charmless staff, and the inflated prices. I'd say it was a bit up itself, and despite the very good food I wouldn't go near there again except to ramble past it. Try East Hendred, I'd say!

THE place to stop for lunch or stay. The food is fabulous and the village is a gem.Bruce and Kay will make you welcome.
