The White Hart has changed from being a rather snooty resteraunt with no customers to a popular village inn with a friendly welcome, good prices and a very nice menu that doesn't break the bank. They have a range of very good food from traditional english to modern european fusion. All ingredints are locally sourced I believe. The meal I had there was very enjoyable. The wine choices are also eclectic - there really is something for everyone on offer there. The change of decor is jolly and cheeful reflecting and enhancing the fact that people are there for a good time. After all it is a traditional village pub at the end of the day. The sunday roasts are almost as good as the ones my mum used to make.

Formerly superb, the White Hart has changed hands and raced down-market.
In place of gentle lighting; open fire; excellent food; and fine wine, we are now confronted with over lit rooms, staff with absolutely no idea, average pub food, and a wine list that would hardly be out of place in a Little Chef!
A great shame to see what had been a superb, atmospheric restaurant reduced to this. I shall not return.
