Gorgeous food and great efficient service. Not many venues serving quality fresh food like you get here. I had the seared tuna and my hubby the pan-fried calves livers. There is no better place to eat in Tynemouth and it knocks the spots of most places in Newcastle City. Recommended.

my husband and I called into Copperfields on Tuesday night thinking we would have a quiet few drinks and a meal, we have eaten here many times before and it has always been lovely. Last night when we walked in the barmaid was not behind the bar but sitting on the otherside looking out on the clientele. She looked straight at us and carried on with her glass of wine, we thought that maybe she was on her break and another barperson would serve us. After staring straight at us for about 3 mins she decided to put her drink down and come to serve us. Obviously after that kind of service we decided not to stay and have the drinks or meal. In the current climate you would think they would be glad of your custom, but obviously not, we were not important enough for her to put her drink down. Needless to say we will not be going there again, and a great shame that what used to be such a nice bar with very friendly YOUNG barstaff has turned so unfriendly with what can only be described as misrable not so young staff.
