Visited the Plants and Garden stall on the first floor that sell many plants for growing ie Tomato and Cucumber, on both the dates listed above.
On the 24th advised sold out this was in the afternoon, advised revisit the next day in the morning did @ 10am informed again sold out, when mentioned to the assistant I was advised to call in the morning I was given a verbal she had been there since 8.30am, it appeared I was to blame for not being there earlier, how must better had they on the previous day informed me to call early, then Woodbrough is the centre of the universe!!.and we should all know better!!.

I have been shopping at the Victoria Market for over 20 years and each time this is a great foodie experience, like in France, my country of origin, or any other country in the world! Most important, the smile and recognition by the people working there is welcoming you everyday; they recommend you seasonal products, suggest you recipes, that's what I call a real market with humaneness, which is sadly unknown in chain supermarkets. As for price, I have always found vegetables, fruits, fish, game and meat much cheaper, that's because they are local and the quality is superb. I wish a long life to the Victoria Market,as it is,my family and I, part of our life!
