Good Points: Clean comfortable rooms with excellent views and good location close to the lake and a range of facilites.
Bad Points: The lack of a fixed shower over the bath in the room.
General review: Excellent hotel which is well run by the staff and offers clean and very comfotable rooms in a good location.

Way over priced for what we got.
Very average hotel room that I'd expect to pay about half the rate we were charged (we checked out a couple of B & Bs later and they were even cheaper for more comfort).
The room window was small and didn't offer adequate ventilation - there was no air conditioning. We had to leave the bathroom fan on all night.
Breakfast was prepacked continental or some standard british fry-up kept warm over burners. All self service.
We'd stayed at Crown Plaza in the center of Manchester for lower price the day before and got a great deal more for our money.
We had a great view of the shed and adjacent house at the side of the hotel, no lake view or hills.
We won't be going back to this one. max of two stars/diamonds
