My husband and I shop at Tesco on Whitletts road as we prefer Tesco to other stores. This is because we find products here that are not available in other stores. However I feel that i must complain about a price increase. We have been buying grapeseed oil for cooking as we have read that this oil has better qualities that the normal vegetable oil. However up until a couple of weeks ago we paid 99p per litre. This has gone up to £2.75 a litre in the space of a few weeks. I cannot understand this price hike - a couple of pence would be expected but you must agree this is a massive increase. We have stopped buying this oil because of it. But i wonder if as usual the more discerning shopper is being penalised by the special offers Tesco bring out for the mass market- that is what is lost in these products to the store is put on to those products which not everyone buys. I look forward to your reply. Thanks Mary
