I visited this tiny and bijou pub in the town centre for a bite to eat. The pub is very very small and filled with locals. There are about 4 tables and I was expecting the usual bar food and snacks. I ordered the special of the day, which seemed to be either stew or pie. It was enormous. Just simple home cooked food. Nothing fancy but plenty of it, cooked by a levaithan of a female chef who dragged herself to a bar stool after cooking and sat, silent waiting for the next order. If you want value for money with no atmosphere this is the place to go.
