Good Points: Friendly polite service. Good on-site parking. Room fairly spacious and warm with a fair sized desk (very important as I often have to work at night). Free Internet access is a definite plus and it's a pity that more hotels in the UK don't supply this service. Bad Points: Television very small and lack of channels (there seemed to be only five or six) and one night BBC1 was on three of them. General review: Good, although it is a bit expensive.

Good Points: The room was very clean, as was the ensuite. The bed was comfortable and all of the facilities were well maintained. Bad Points: The hotel is quite close to a road and there was some traffic noise, but not a lot. General Review: Dial House Hotel is very easy to find and the directions given were excellent. The staff were extremely welcoming, helpful and friendly. The bedroom was large, clean, well presented and very comfortable. The cooked breakfast was excellent and plentiful. We had to leave early on our day of departure, before the kitchen staff started work, and we were disappointed with the continental breakfast which had been left out for us. It was OK and prevented us going hungry, but it was not up to the standard of the cooked one. Overall we were very happy with the hotel and thought it good value for money. We would use it again.
