just took family to the tophouse for some tummy filling food and a warm welcoming from `dave the landlord`. fresh cooked mixed grill was fab with my ice cold carling was delightful. thanks dave for a smashing lunch treat.

i think that the top house is a lovely friendly pub. in a great location and the two pound drinks on a friday are fantastic!
the pub has an interesting history and some scary myths to accompany them. such as mable the ghost who lives in the cellar, and old man nank who still potters about upstairs.
saturday nights are great too. with Darren the Dj making the night a blast. sundays are busy wih all the fun loving locals having good old knees up.
when you visit this pub you get a godd old fqashoined warm welcome, as the family that live there love to meet new people.
i really reccomend this pub to anyone, young or old, to pop in and say hello
