Wish I'd read the other reviews before wasting my time and cash on the school dinner vaguely disguised as roast pork. Although 2 for 10 quid, the 'roasts' appeared within seconds of us taking our seats, and consisted of Low grade, dry microwave meat, offensively bland vegetables, awash in watery bisto gravy. It's rare that I am forced to use ketchup to bestow flavour on a roast meal, but this was the case here. Drinks were also an incredible £12 for 4 soft drinks. Do yourself a favour and steer well clear of this useless excuse of a public house. 0 out of 10.

This was quite honestly the worst pub meal we have ever experienced! Arrived at 6.45 on a cold and wet December Sunday evening, meal arrived 8.20 and was inedible. The reason for the wait was that "the chef was very busy, and he has had a long day". There was one other family of four, served before we ordered, and one other couple who were served as we were leaving. The kids BLT"s were served between cheap bread, stale at the edges and the chips were stiff and dry, but marginally edible if hungry. The roast beef and roast potatoes were tough and soggy respectively, and the chicken breast served with roast vegetables and pesto didn't exist - instead it was a flattened and incinerated chicken escalope on what appeared to be a sea of heated pickle. No amount of hunger could assuage the vileness of this repast, which we duly left. As the children ate their sandwiches we paid for them, but unfortunately we had to complain about the two main meals. The manager kindly refunded after a thorough post mortem, but with a gentle aside that she had had the roast beef at lunchtime and it was fine. Sadly, ours wasn't. As we are refurbishing our kitchen and have been completely without cooking facilities for nearly three weeks, we have been trawling the New Forest, where we live, sampling local hostelries and restaurants. This was quite genuinely the worst experience so far, and needless to say we won't be going back.
