If your idea of a great day out is an hour long wait for your lunch, warm drinks that should have been cold, cold tasteless vegetables that should have been hot, and locals that have no human decency, then this is the place for you!
After reserving a table for lunch you would expect that the pub would be able to cater for you adequetly. Our drinks arrived one at a time, including a hot pimms. The lunch took an hour to arrive and when it did it was very dissapointing. Cold veggies, hard stuffing, chewy crackling, no apology from the staff to say they had run out of new potatoes, only a dismissive comment that 'the kitchen was too busy.'
As if this wasn't bad enough, on the way out my mum fell over a badly designed slope in the gardens and the locals didn't even get up to help her, just left her sitting on the floor with a sprained ankle and looked down and asked her if she was ok!!! Shame on you all, what ever happened to common decency towards your fellow human being.
Never Again!!!!
