A potential quick visit to this pub made a great afternoon, my wife and I stayed longer than we thought we would and enjoyed lunch and dinner in the establishment. The Abbot was perfect and on this day served direct from the cellar. We don't come back to Sawbridgeworth often and were suprised at our sons recommendation due to the pubs historical trading. It was however a great afternoon out with great service, great food, and a great venue.
