AS LANDLORD AND LANDLADY OF THE BRITISH LION WE SEE IT AS OUR MAIN OBJECTIVE TO TO MAKE OUR PUB THE WARMEST AND FRIENDLIEST PLACE IN SUNNY FOLKESTONE PROVIDING PLEASANT SURROUNDINGS TO ENJOY GREAT WINES AND BEERS INCLUDING FOUR GREAT REAL ALES AND ALSO A WIDE AND VARIED MENU WHICH RANGES FROM THE TRADITIONALS SUCH AS SCAMPI AND CHIPS TO THE CHICKEN BREAST FILLET IN A CREAMY WILD MUSHROOM SAUCE,WE ALSO SERVE GREAT STEAKS SUPPLIED BY OUR LOCAL BUTCHER... T.BONE... FILLET... RUMP.. AND SIRLOIN

Great little pub with good selection of real ales but above all superb food.Visited on a Saturday lunchtime and was impressed with the welcoming given by the landlord and locals alike. Highly recommended
On points out of 10 I'd say 8.7 only due to the lack of parking around the area.
