This pub is one of my locals, and I find that since it was done up a few years ago, the clientelle have changed, for the better. It has become a trendy bar for the younger generation but is also a good family pub during the day. It welcomes all especially on Karaoke nights, which is run by Steve & Mark of Throatbuster's Karaoke and they have now got a good following. As with every pub an influx of new people would do the pub good and especially on a Weds for the Karaoke which would be good for the regulars. I suggest you get there early if you like to get a seat and a song in, as when it does get busy, some do not get more than two songs in over the night. The Guys who run it are fair and will try and get as many new people up as possible. So for a good night and perhaps to watch the footie first, when it's on, get down to the Woodman and become part of the friendly atmosphere and enjoy a drink as well.
