we went along to The stone house Hotel for new years eve, we had such a lovely night with friends, the food was beautiful and Disco was very good.. all in all Excellent we would highly recommend.

Was given the familly room for my partner and I, so plenty of space. The interior of the hotel was ok decorated, albiet dated and a little tired, the outside was pretty run down. The gardens were pretty. Beds comfortable enough. No trafic noise, but there was noise from the air conditioner( out side our back window) off and on all night. The staff were pleasant and attentive, but not over clued up on the general area surrounding the hotel. The food the 1st night was ok 5/10, the second night it was absoloutly appauling. It was as if the chef was away and the boy of 8 from next door had done it in a microwave. ( night of the 8th June). We ate in town the following two nights although we had paid for dinner , bed and breakfast. The latter was great each morning.
The menu did not change all the time we were staying and was 1/ unimaginative, 2/ dated and stuck in the past, and 3/ not very well thought out. Leeks in June, just as one example, not seasonal, not too clever.
Overall though, as it was an offer, I guess value fore money, but had I been paying full price, ........well I wouldn't have.

9 of us went on a hen party at the stone house hotel we had bed three course meal and breakfast.
The staff were lovely, we all enjoyed our meal, the rooms were comfortable and clean. we all had a lovely breakfast. throughout our stay ALL STAFF were very helpful & friendly we would really recommend this hotel for either business or pleasure

Good Points: Steak baguette and kronenburg on tap at the bar. Quality!
Bad Points: No bad points. Enjoyed my stay

Good Points: As usuall, only the restaurant area was nicely furnitured. Dinner: good quality, yet slow service. Parking facilities very good.
Bad Points: Premises looked a bit run down; smelly too. Reception area was rather poor as well. The bed was very very hard and worn out which made sleep difficult. The last day was he more expensive, and without any reason, which should have been reduced due to length of stay. We have spent 5 nights in the hotel.
General review: This was for us the first and last time with you.

Good Points: Staff members were courteous, considerate & efficient
Check-in process was effortless
Bad Points: Menu had limited scope for vegetarians
General review: Good value for money accommodation would stay again & recomend to other work colleagues who will be on business in Stafford area in forthcoming months.

Good Points: Good sized room with most usually required facilities available.
Bad Points: Breakfast could have been a bit better. I had the feeling that the ingredients had been kept warm for too long. Coffee wasn't very nice.
General review: Good value at the price I paid but I noticed the standard tariff was somewhat higher. Some furnishings were showing signs of wear.
