Sorry have to agree with Ian - food terrible, service poor and food very substandard. Would definitely not visit again !

What a pub ! My ideal Pub, forget the pr*ck above, this pub is what a pub is all about. Go there, enjoy and remember the locals.
Excellent. 10/10

I have never been so astounded and disgusted by the downright rudeness of a publican in my life!! This seemed an ideal spot for a lunch break during our Sunday bike ride along the South Downs link.
The owners saw fit to leave 3 drunken locals in the Pub garden in charge of their dog whilst they tended the barbeque. The dog was out of control and urinated all over my rucksack. On pointing this out I was met with derisive abuse from the local drunkards, no apology at all from the publican, and in fact LAUGHING at us as we shortly thereafter left the pub.
Incidentally - the food was also poor - the Sunday lunch menu consisted of barbeque Burger in a bun with /without salad OR barbeque Suasage in a bun with /without salad - all at infalted price and average quality.
Whatever you do - DO NOT VISIT THIS PUB.
