Good Points: Quiet, parking facilities, location (i.e. within short walking distance to city centre)
Bad Points: Lack of trouser press
General review: better directions - would be preferable to give distances such as 'at approximately 1 mile turn left, then at a further 2 miles turm right onto ....)

I have just visited this hotel for our staff Christmas party. Although the disco afterwards was great, the main meal for vegetarians was the worst I have ever come across in 23 years of being veggie. It consisted of three EMPTY vol-au-vont cases, splashed with a bit of tomato sauce and a few lumps of pepper. I have honestly never seen anything as poor as this, and object to paying £25 for such rubbish. Our table was given an extra bottle of wine, as I complained, and I was provided with an equally uninspired replacement `meal' of deep-fried polenta! This was totally tasteless and dripping with grease. The hotel needs to get its act together if it wants to avoid making vegetarians feel that they are second-class and don't deserve a decent Xmas meal. I suggest sacking the chef for starters!
