My Wife and I have been going to the Tabard for about 15 years, on average about twice a week. We came across the Tabard on our way from the Rotherham Hospital. We enjoyed the meals so much it became our favourite place. We have never had a poor meal there. Sadly my wife has passed away, but I am still going to the Tabard iwice a week. Kind regards to Karen, Chris and all the staff. See you all jn a few dats time. Albert

I have visited the Tabard for a meal on many occassions and it never fails to impress. The service from staff is outstanding. The food is served quickly and is always at a very high standard. Prices are excellent, having only cost £19 for two people to have a 3 course meal on one occassion. Staff always ask how your meal was, offer condiments and offer service with a smile. I will return time and time again. The atmposhere is very relaxed and chilled. Only once have I have a poor meal whereby the chicken I ordered was way over cooked and couldnt be cut with a knife! However, the many other timse I have visited it has been outstanding. It is such a shame that they took the garlic mushrooms in a mushroom sauce (served in a bowl with garlic bread) off the new menu, because this was delicious as a starter and one of the main reasons we returned!
