This place is the best place in Denton to drink IMHO. It has a great mix of people (great characters) that make this pub what it is,young and old are made very welcome. Denton as a town ,like many others has become rougher but this pub is the nicest, friendliest ,safest pub in Denton. The beer (Lager,Guiness and bitter)is well kept and the Bitter is of great quality,inexpensive and of sufficient strength for a good night as is demonstated by me staggering out of the place with my Mrs every friday night! Service is quick for a busy bar courtesy of the lovely Helen ,the radiant Laurna and the man with a heart of gold Pete. Friday night is Karaoke night and the quality of the regular singers such as Dave ,Terry, Neil and wendy would put most paid for acts to shame .every one is made welcome to sing by the excellent karaoke DJ Mike.
