This hotel was very poorly run, and the receptionist was very unhelpful on arrival to the hotel. My booking was correct, however, they had no knowledge of the party that was staying with me, even though they had booked the very same day. The room smelt smokey, and was very hot, with central heating pipes around the room, not great for my 2 year old Son, as he could have burnt himself. Sheets were clean, and beds comforatble as they could be. Towels were provided, but I had to ask for a shower curtain on arrival, and all 3 lamps in the room were broken, which was appalling (we had to leave the bathroom light on all night). My parent's kettle was broken in their room and leaking water, for which they then had to wait 40 minutes at 22.00pm at night to make a cup of tea, as the porter could not be found and did evetually arrive with a substitute kettle. The hotel as a whole is in great need of refurbishment. The breakfast was good, however again my parents had problems for which I had to talk to the receptionist, as the kitchen staff 'were TOO busy'!! Overall I was not impressed with the services provided at the hotel, and had I not had my Nephew's birthday party to attend, I would have found alternative accommodation for my family right away.

Croydon Park hotel is fantastic and a few others around east croydon just up the road!!I recommend them. I would never ever stay in a hotel in thornton heath/norbury unless you have no other choice!! The hotels gain all their money from Croydon council who genourosly like to put the numerous amounts of assylum seekers and broken families up in local hotels. Hence the people that run and own the hotels don't care about customer service, They have no need to care as they know there is always a demand for their sub-standard accomodation that Croydon will fill up with eastern europeans, etc etc!! . 10 years ago the hotels were propably ok, but I'm afraid thanks to poorly managed dispersal of money by the council they are not!! Croydon Park hotel is fantastic and a few others around east croydon just up the road!!I recommend them.

my intension was to stay in your hotel for a month as travellled from Germany and when I made the booking I've been told the front desk is 24hrs and any assitancve require will be appreciated. I Literally couldn't get into your hotel as your staff was far sleeping with awful snorings. The person practically thrown the key on me and went back to sleep what ever I asked he ignore me.Well another story breakfast was awfull and the indian lady got no manners to approach with the customer.I think you better start thinking of another business or alternatively find atleast reliable and decent staff whom you can trust. I'm not too sure abt that chap on reception, but the way he respond it sounds spanish. I'll never ever come back to your hotel and try my best to stop others as well.
