We stayed for one night and were charged £70 for a room that was basic and uncormfortable. The staff were friendly but the fact that there was noise coming from the pub below till about 2 in the morning made getting to sleep nearly impossible. Would not recommend this to anyone. Didn't even bother with the breakfast.

This was our second visit to the pub in the last couple of years, only to find there had been a change of management. But found the place in better order and the welcome still as friendly and the food 10 out 10. We would rcommend any body who likes value for money to stay there and wish the new management the best in the future.

We stayed for one night whilst visiting Southwold. Very friendly and full of character. The food was great with good beer and wine. Thoroughly recommended - We would definately visit again

We have visited the Griffin restaurant 4 times now & on each occasion have found the food excellent & the service excellent. They also made a bannana split for our daughter which was not on the menu & it was no trouble. We would definitly recommend & we will be visiting again.

We were charged £75 for one nights accommodation. Very basic rooms with no showers. Very rude owners who certainly know how to make people feel unwelcome. The only positive was the breakfast. I would certainly not recommend this place!
