We booked this as our family summer holiday with 2 teenagers, a toddler and a baby. The 4 bedroom house was spacious and clean but considering the price for a week (£1450) I expected a higher standard of furnishings (every bed in house was uncomfortable and very very squeaky-def needed replacing) tiles in the ensuite were cracked on floor, utensils needed changing. We stayed at Center Parcs Longleat in June, paid less and had higher quality of accomodation. The pool was ok apart from the temperature and the loose hand rail. There were no lockers which was odd. Also could do with a proper baby changer with strap as the playpen on floor was dangerous for babies falling over and cracking their heads on the tiled floor.Staff on reception were not always as helpful as you would expect. Tennis courts needed upgrading. Entertainment was ok, bar staff very friendly. There is a new toddler play area which is good but it needs to tell you on the website that you pay extra for this albeit cheap. The outside play area was good but again the trampoline needed attention. Outside pool was freezing! Wifi in main area never worked for longer than 5 mins.All in all we would not visit again as didnt feel we got value for money.

The accomadation was nice,clean and had been refurbished, quite recently. The double bed was very uncomfortable and lumpy, but the twin beds were ok.Pool area was fine, but not over large.There is hardly any entertainment and what there was was dire!! Staff not over friendly or helpful.Restaurant was a bit pricey, for what is was not alot on offer. Not suitable if you are disabled, very hilly and pot-holed roads.No were to unpack you car,not enough parking near the houses.There was no bouncy castle, no trampouline and no coffee shop type area, all are supposed to be there,when we stayed it was still summer season.Will recommend it,and will not go again.

Bit of a curate's egg, this one. Let's start with the good parts:
Accomodation was warm, clean, and pretty good. Double bed was a bit hard, but living space was comfy enough, all crockery/cutlery present & correct & clean too, fridge was cold, shower was hot. Remember to take your own toilet rolls! Only major grumble is that there's no road access to many chalets (houses? what are they called?) so you will end up lugging luggage a fair distance. The telly has freeview though, which is nice.
Main block: swimming pool is nice enough, not the largest but clean. Restaurant is pretty good, food is quite nice, some dishes are better than others and some are just plain poor; the chicken curry was somewhat less than wonderful. Curry powder alone does not a curry make.
The bar is uninspired at best, with nothing of interest to drink; just the usual bottled lagers and standard draught offerings. The bar entertainment is universally dire; Lisa The International Vocalist was offered. What you get is some girl who's done karaoke in the Costa Del Sol. The kids seemed to enjoy it, though.
There's a Teen Den, with arcade games and the like in them! If only they worked properly...there's three or four 'shooting' games, you know, the ones with the plastic pistols? They're tired and past their best. There are some driving games; at least two of these reboot of their own accord in mid game. Best things they have are the Japanese Police game, and good old air hockey, and even that's a quid a pop (two quid on the big table!). The rest...meh.
The biggest 'oh for flips' sake' was the Indigo Spa, or rather lack of. It's closed. No saunas, no nothing. My wife was massively disappointed, this was a significant reason we chose Atlantic Reach.
Your other major consideration is that Atlantic Reach is near nothing, and is £12 minimum from Newquay in a cab (the nearest major town, and even that's a bit grim). If you need to nip out for milk, it'll take a while - and there's no shop on site. If you want to have a drink while you're out, remember someone has to drive.
The lesson my family & I took away from our time at Atlantic Reach was that next time, we're not staying in the middle of nowhere; we want to be within walking distance of things to do.
