Since the new chef has been appointed to the Royal Oak, the food and srvice has been very high class, the meal was gorgeous and very filling, and at competitive rates too. The bar staff were very friendly and always serving with a smile and a sparkle in their eye.
I would recommend this pub to anyone who will be staying in saundersfoot.
After the meal we actually had the pleasure to meet the chefs and they are the most funniest and friendliest chefs.
Steve and Lee (chefs) have really turned this pub around for the better.
Thank you once again.

Great service by the waiting staff on the evening BUT half the meals very poor, half good. Unfortunately didn't complain on the evening as it was a late booking and we had children to get back to and were also thinking of the staff staying even later. Went in the following morning to let them know what a bad meal it was and as we did not let them know on the evening they were not willing to do anything about it - not even a good will gesture even though over 40 years holidays and many visits which is rather poor management. They'll be lucky to see us again
and the many people we know down there!
