We have now visited the Farmers Market in Wellington twice and each time the Market gets better. Considering that the markets has not being going for that long the market I beleave will only get better.
The stalls range from locally produced cheese, Counrty Markets (the old WI) with their wide rane of cakes, local beef producer and a unique company called hollyandtheivy that produce a vast range of preserves, chutnets, mustards and the largest selection of fruit curds I have ever seen, which are all handmade by the owner. It appears that for Christmas they have also produced beautiful presentation baskets of chutneys and preserves as well at very reasonable prices.
I beleave the market organiser is trying to get additional markets before christmas which includes the "christmas light switch on".
I know where I will be going before christmas to stock up on local produce.
