What a find !!!!
This was my first visit to the Hayloft for nearly ten year's, why did I wait so long !!!
The food was fantastic, if your a fish food lover your in for a treat. The interior has been thoughfully put together keeping the charm of the old building but adding an Italian feel.
In short, great food, great service, dont miss out. J.Carroll

Myself and my partner attended the Hayloft Ristorante, Liskeard on New Years Eve 2007.
The meal for two, for £92.50, which included Tapas, a desert, and one bottle of wine, was, without doubt, the worst meal I have ever paid for.
The main course consisted of deep fried broccoli, deep fried cauliflower, and deep fried parsnips, with a side order of pale over cooked peas. Shocking. The samosas, that were served with the Tapas were ok, if not unexpected. The starter of spaghetti was interesting.
In short, everything on the plate for the main course appears to have been deep fried.
One of the deserts we had was a "banoffie pie", with a toffee sauce. The sauce was so badly made the sugar granules grated when you ate it.
We called the restaurant afterwards, have they showed no interest in our opinions. Hence this review.
The restaurant itself is lovely building, with good service, it’s a shame the food was so bad.
