We recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be clean and comfortable. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. If you want 5 star accommodation you have to pay 5 star prices. We found this hotel to be value for money and the food was well cooked and as I have previously said the staff could not have been more helpful. We will stay here again.

we saw the website for this hotel and thought it would be ideal . how wrong we were . we were given two rooms a double and a single . the single was adequate but set in the 80s . the double was a disgrace. It stank of mould , which was clear to see on the walls and around the shower . The duvet cover was stained with something resembling glue !!!!! . when we complained they gave us a new room instantly . The bath panel in this room was smashed with dangerous jagged edges sticking out and the arched double glazed window wouldn`t shut properly , but we could put up with this. it was only when the ventilation system (its ducting ran through the room but was boxed in) started up that we knew we would not be able to sleep there. We were moved to a third room which was the best of the three . this room only had wallpaper hanging off the wall in one corner due to the damp and a large section of the bathroom ceiling hanging down about to fall at any time . If I hadnt paid in advance on my credit card I would have walked out then but we were desperate for a room for the night so we stayed. If we had known that they would be playing music in the bar below our room so loud that you could not be heard at the bar (to a room with no customers )and this would continue until 1.00 in the morning then im afraid I would have left and slept in my car instead .
I would not recommend this hotel ,which is in need of some serious updating, to my worst enemy. The staff told me that new owners had taken over the hotel a few months earlier but there was no excuse for letting out rooms in the condition they were in . do yourself a favour and avoid ,or go and have a look at some rooms BEFORE you pay.

I have never been treated as badly as a customer as in grays sports in Rugby. Their service is the slowest I have ever encountered and the quality of service is equally poor. I do not recommend that anyone spend money in there, as they exploit the customer due to a lack of any competition in the area.
