On another day we may not have bothered visiting this museum but we decided to do so whilst our car was being repaired in a nearby garage after developing a problem with an overheating engine. Overall we found the museum interesting and spent an enjoyable hour or two there. The highlight being when my wife recognised a dress that her grandmother used to wear many years ago. It was a mass-produced print dress from the mid 1950s with a beautiful yellow collar and flower motif. Funny to think that what her grandmother used to think nothing of wearing on a daily basis is now worthy of being in a museum and is being enjoyed by generations of people she never even knew. Recommended.
