now that this establishment has been fully refurbished with new panelled function room, beautiful fire places, warm and cosy nooks,an open bar and tap, live music, and glass panels to view the inner workings of the on site Brewery,it certainly is the place to be seen, guest ales are always well kept and tastefully presented by knowledgeable friendly staff.Food is plentiful and filling excellent kitchen again with glass panels so you can actually see your food being prepared (i noticed how clean the kitchen is kept and hygiene standards are second to none.Wood fires gently heat the weary traveller, with car parking space through the arch behind the left of the pub. Highly recommended country pub and eatery.
