**Reply to review. The cost of £24.00 per person for a 4 course meal consisted of:- Starter of:- Avocado filled with a warm piquant sauce & topped with crispy bacon; followed by marinated greshingham duck with a rhubard sauce served with fresh vegetables from our garden then a selection of home-made puddings followed by an interesting cheese board. Tea and coffee was served in the sitting-room. People bring their own wines as it is cheaper. A main course, only, in a decent pub would cost in the region of £14-£18.00

nice place but don't eat in ; the food is decent, mediocre but shockingly expensive : a dinner for 4 without any beer or wine (no licence!) amounts to £ 96.- !!!
