We waited half an hour for our food, despite people entering after us not only being served but having nearly finished their meal. When I asked the eastern European waitress how long we would have to wait, she simply shrugged her shoulders. We then left without paying (we had had our drinks in this time), and then the manager of the restaurant followed us down the street, blocked himself in front of my baby's buggy, and threatened to 'lay me out'.
I immediately contacted the police who dealt with the matter and it was clear that the proprietor was known to them, as they advised us against letting him have our contact details.
There are many restaurants along the promenade so please do avoid this one like the plague, and utterly shocking place with a sad and aggressive little owner who failed miserably to get one over on us.
