We were celebrating our anniversary with friends. We were recommended this El Gaucho by a couple of people. Was very dissapointed with the quality of the food, starters and the steaks. The starters were very basic, breaded mushrooms that you can buy in any supermarket, ribs very dry and tough. My husband and friends steak was very poor with lots of fat and grisle. Would not recommend this resturant to anyone. Over priced and poor quality. Ruined what was going to be a pleasant evening.

This was the third visit my boyfriend and myself have made to El Gaucho and we were not disapointed.
As always the steak was superb, and even my boyfriends very well done (as he wanted!!) was tender and full of flavour.
The starters, especially the empanadas were delicious as were the desserts.
I have always been impressed with the value for money at El Gaucho-£50 for 3 courses for 2 with wine. Having been to other 'fancier' Argentinian restaurants in London and Manchester, El Gaucho definetley beats them for quality of food and value for money.
We will certainly be going again!
