I agree with paul i have been a patient at this surgery for over 20 years and have found all of the staff and doctors nothing but kind and caring the, receptionists go out of their way to be helpful.

I think the previous review is a little harsh. I have lived in Braintree for nearly 3 years and in that time I have had to visit my GP at Mount Chambers surgery on a regular basis due to ill health. I have never had any reason to complain about the service I have received, either from the GPs or the Receptionists, and I can't help but wonder if the Receptionists could have done anything to please that particular Customer/Patient.

I think the person that wrote this this review should be sitting in the receptionists seat with the rude, miserable & sometimes ignorant patients that they have to deal with.Dealing with the general public is hard enough but when they are ill must be 100 times worse and as the receptionists are the first port of call they get all the abuse & never the praise and at the end of the day they are only working under the doctors instructions & guidelines!

This doctors surgery need to send their reception staff on a customer care course and some sort of telephone skills course in how to be polite to someone when they call! I am always dissapointed with the treatment that the reception staff give. my own GP is amazing but having the rudest people in the world greeting the public before they see a doctor puts it down. surely to work in a doctors surgery you will need to bare in mind that atleat 95% of people that walk through the door everyday are there for a reason! manners are free! and it doesnt cost to smile!
