Have just spent a couple of nights in the family room on the 2nd floor. 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Very comfortable room although the sloping ceilings do make for some interesting contortioning to get about safely and bump free.
The beds were very comfortable with lovely cotton bedlinen. The double bed in the room had a bit of a squeak (!).
The room itself was incredibly warm, even though we turned off the radiator and opened the windows. Wouldn't like to stay there in the heat of the summer!!
The hotel offers the 'hire' of DVDs, free of charge, but we were all settled in to watch Brigitte Jones and enjoying the soundtrack when the owner came up from the ground floor asking us to turn the TV down as she could hear it from down in the kitchen!! We then became paranoid about every sound we made, which meant our chill-out time wasn't all that relaxing!!
Breakfast lovely, service excellent.
Would highly recommend Mory House, and Southbourne is actually larger/has more interesting little shops than I had realised.

I dont really want people to know about this wonderful place or I might not be able to book a room myself. Mory House is spotlessly clean and all rooms are excellently decorated. The family who own and run Mory House are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. We were so pleased to find it and will be back soon
