So many reviews about the same receptionist. Why not send her on a customer care course if the surgery insists on keeping her. I think one of the hygienists must have attended because last year noticed that Miss Gay Coward had found a gentler way of insulting me. However my dentist is the tops.

Glad it is not only me who has encountered the Grumpy receptionist - thought she must have had a personal dislike to me. Dentists aren't a great place to go but I dread going into the place as she makes me feel really uncomfortable, especially with everyone else listening to the bother I am having to complete my insurance form. Think I had her on the phone today trying to get an emergency appointment for my daughter. Told me I would be lucky to get one for at least 2 weeks. Only have a few a day and the lucky ones who phone at 9am get those!! No offer of help. Can never get through at 9am. Why has she still got her job when there are plenty of people who would gladly be couteous and give good service with a smile!!

That just made me giggle...ended up on here trying to find number for surgery and read the reviews, Ive continually had problems with that awful receptionist woman! She seems to go out of her way to be unhelpful and rude, I couldnt remember the amount of times she has upset me! Pretty much every time I have contact with her, and Ive also seen her upsetting other patients too, she seems to have some sort of power issue, and I agree, no social skills whatsoever. I have no idea why that woman still has her job, she must be awful to work with as all the other staff are so lovely. I'm actually going to do something useful and make a complaint the next time she upsets me, its long overdue I think!

I completely agree with the person who commented on the large blonde receptionist-she definitely doesn't suit a customer care role!! However, the dentist is lovely and I'd recommend them-just try to speak to another receptionist if you can.

Tried to call at 5.05pm on a friday - their advertised hours are until 5.30pm - just keep getting their answering machine saying they are closed - no hope to my daughter who has a bleeding mouth from her brace!"

Dentists lovely-all briliant, but the grumpy blonde receptionist has serious attitude problem and no social skills what so ever, always as unhelpful as possible and never fail to see her upsetting people everytime im in there, she needs a job where she doesnt have to deal with people i think!Or take a leaf from the other receptionists book, as the others are lovely

Have been with Mr Buckle since I was 3 years old and I am now 28. Have had very little treatment over the years but what I have had, has been pain free. A brilliant practice.

What an experience - having only moved to the Plymouth area was able to register with this dentist that was just around the corner. Upon entering meet with cheery receptionists then after short wait met the Dentist, what a nice man (Mr Atwill). On leaving yet again receptionsisg so helpful
