A visit to Discovery Point is a must for anyone who has the slightest interest in the story of Captain Scott's expedition to the South Pole. The exhibition is full of interesting facts and photographs and the tour of RSS Discovery itself is fascinating and gives the visitor an excellent feel for the conditions on board the ship for Captain Scott and his crew. You can almost feel the cold! The only minor criticism is the fact that RSS Discovery feels a bit hemmed in by railings and the nearby modern buildings, making it dificult to take good photographs of the ship.
